WHEN GOD SPEAKS AGAIN

Scripture Focus: Genesis 15:1; Isaiah 30:21
There is a pattern in Abram’s journey, God spoke to him after key moments of obedience. After
he separated from Lot, God spoke (Genesis 13:14). After he refused the wealth of the king of
Sodom, God spoke again (Genesis 15:1). The phrase “After these things” suggests that divine
revelation often follows acts of surrender and obedience.
Many times, people wonder why God seems silent. Could it be that we are outside His will?
Abram did not hear from God while entangled in unnecessary attachments, but once he aligned
with God’s plan, clarity came. If we desire to hear God, we must be willing to let go of
distractions, walk in obedience, and trust His timing.
Prayer: Lord, help me to remove anything that hinders my ability to hear You. Speak to me as I
walk in obedience. Amen.
