I Am God Almighty

Scripture Focus: Genesis 17:1; Isaiah 46:9-10

When Abram was ninety-nine years old, God appeared to him and declared, “I am God Almighty; walk before me and be blameless” (Genesis 17:1). This was not just a statement but a call to realignment. For years, Abram had lived with the consequences of human effort—an attempt to fulfill God’s promise in his own strength. But when God spoke again, He reminded Abram that He alone is Almighty.

How often do we try to help God, thinking He needs our intervention? We push forward in our wisdom, only to find ourselves weary. Yet, God’s call remains the same: Walk before Me. Trust Me. Surrender to My timing. He does not need our assistance—He needs our obedience. True victory is found not in striving but in walking with Him.

Prayer:

Lord, I surrender my efforts and trust in Your timing. Help me walk before You in faith, knowing that You alone are God Almighty. Amen.
