Scripture Focus: Genesis 18:10 to 14; Luke 1:37
After Abraham and Sarah welcomed and served the three visitors they received a life changing promise. One of them declared “I will surely return to you about this time next year and Sarah your wife will have a son.” Sarah laughed because in the natural it seemed impossible. She and Abraham were old and long past childbearing years. But God responded with a question that still echoes today. “Is anything too hard for the Lord?”
The same God who fulfilled this impossible promise is still at work today. No situation is beyond His power. No delay is beyond His timing. If God could give a child to a couple who had given up on hope then He can do the impossible in your life. Do not limit Him. What He has spoken He will fulfill. Nothing is too hard for the Lord.
Prayer:
Lord I choose to trust You no matter how impossible my situation seems. You are the God who makes a way where there is none. Strengthen my faith and help me believe that nothing is too hard for You. Amen.
