your greatest advantage

Scripture Focus:
“And the Lord was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man; and he was in the house of his
master the Egyptian.” – Genesis 39:2
Joseph was thrown into a pit, sold as a slave, and dragged into a foreign land. Everything
around him said he was finished. But something followed him; God’s presence. Though stripped
of his coat and separated from his father, he was never separated from God. That presence
became his greatest advantage. In Potiphar’s house, he rose above every other slave, not
because he was the smartest or strongest, but because God was with him.
God’s presence makes the difference. It is not always loud, but it is always powerful. Joseph
didn’t lose his identity or values because of pain. Even in slavery, he held on to God, and the
results spoke for themselves. His success was not tied to circumstances but to a Person. When
the Lord is with you, you will flourish even in unfamiliar places.
Prayer:
Father, let Your presence go with me and distinguish me wherever I am, in Jesus’ name.
