Scripture Focus:
“And Joseph’s master took him, and put him into the prison, a place where the king’s prisoners
were bound: and he was there in the prison.” Genesis 39:20
God never does random things. While Joseph was in prison, two of Pharaoh’s key officers were
sent to the same prison. Their presence wasn’t by chance, it was a divine arrangement. Joseph
could have ignored them, but he chose to serve them even in his pain. His gift of interpreting
dreams found expression there, and that same gift became his bridge to the palace.
Sometimes, your greatest breakthroughs are hidden in the simple act of caring for others. God
places people in your life for a reason. Don’t despise those placements. Serve with diligence,
use your gifts and honour every connection. Even in the lowest places, God is setting you up for
the highest call.
Prayer:
Father, help me recognise and value the people You’ve placed in my life. Let me serve faithfully,
even in hard seasons, and use my gifts to bring glory to You, in Jesus’ name.
