Scripture Focus:
“Then Joseph’s master took him and put him into the prison, a place where the king’s prisoners
were confined. And he was there in the prison. But the Lord was with Joseph” Genesis
39:20–21
False accusations cut deep. Joseph did everything right, yet he was thrown into prison for a
crime he didn’t commit. Like Joseph, you might have been framed by a friend, sibling, teacher,
or even a spiritual leader. The pain is real but Joseph’s response is a powerful model for us: no
bitterness, no revenge, no self-pity. He remained faithful and kept his peace.
Even when everything looked like God had forgotten him, the Lord was still with him. Joseph
chose to keep doing right, even when right didn’t seem to be paying off. He forgave, trusted God
and stayed faithful. Don’t allow bitterness or revenge to corrupt your heart. Let your integrity
outlive the lies and evil people do to you.
Prayer:
Lord, help me to keep my peace, remain faithful, and trust Your justice when falsely accused, in
Jesus’ name.
