forgotten??

Scripture Focus:
“Yet did not the chief butler remember Joseph, but forgat him.” Genesis 40:23
Joseph helped the butler and hoped to be remembered. But weeks turned into months, and
months into two years. No message came, no help arrived. It was as though he never existed.
Yet, Joseph remained faithful, trusting the God who sees what men forget. The day Pharaoh
had a troubling dream was the day Joseph’s name was mentioned again. It wasn’t luck, it was
God’s timing. Heaven never forgets. Men may walk away, but God does not abandon those who
walk with Him.
You may have served, loved, given, and gone the extra mile, yet feel overlooked. Don’t stop. If
what you did was truly for God, He will reward you. Like Mordecai in the book of Esther, your act
of faithfulness is recorded, and your day of remembrance will come. Don’t get bitter; stay ready.
What you are doing now might not bring applause, but it is writing your promotion story. If
Joseph had been remembered earlier, he might have left the prison and missed Pharaoh’s
dream. Trust the process.
Prayer:
Lord, even if people forget me, I trust that You will remember me at the right time.
