understanding seasons

Scripture Focus:
“And in the seven plenteous years the earth brought forth by handfuls.” – Genesis 41:47
Life moves in seasons. God showed Pharaoh that a time of abundance would be followed by a
time of famine. No amount of prayer or planning could stop the famine, it would come. But
wisdom could prepare for it. Joseph didn’t waste the season of plenty. He stored up grain in
cities, he created working systems, he understood that strength, time, and opportunities don’t
last forever. That’s why you must not waste your early years. Build a walk with God now. Store
up prayer, scripture, and wisdom. Save financially, strengthen your mind. One day, these will
become your reserves.
Hard times test what you saved in easy times. Joseph’s leadership saved nations because he
didn’t waste the season of plenty. If he had compromised in Potiphar’s house or grown bitter in
prison, Egypt would have starved. Your attitude today might save a nation tomorrow. Like
Joseph, use your now to prepare for your next. Build while it is day, because night comes. Save
when there is excess, because famine is real. And never forget that God remains with you in all
seasons.
Prayer: Lord, help me to walk in wisdom and prepare for every season. Teach me to build
spiritual and practical reserves.
