for such a time

Scripture Focus:
“…For God, said he, hath made me forget all my toil… For God hath caused me to be fruitful in
the land of my affliction.” – Genesis 41:50–52
Joseph’s life looked like a series of tragedies; betrayal, slavery, false accusations, prison. But
when the time came, all the pain aligned into purpose. He didn’t just survive; he was raised to
save nations. God had been preparing him for this very moment. At thirty, he stood before
Pharaoh, not as a prisoner, but as a solution. His wounds became his wisdom. His trials
became his training. God truly raises people for specific seasons.
Like Joseph, Esther was prepared for a moment that would save her people. Like David, years
in the wilderness trained him for the throne. Don’t let your current pain lie to you. God is doing
more than you can see. Stay in process. Refuse to compromise. One day, like Joseph, you’ll
understand why it had to be this way. And when that day comes, you’ll know that you were
being shaped for such a time.
Prayer:
Lord, prepare me for my appointed time. Let every pain become a tool in Your hand for my
purpose.
