God Remembers His Covenant

Scripture Focus: Exodus 2:24 – “…God heard their groaning, and God remembered His
covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob.”
When the Israelites cried out in their bondage, God’s response was not based on their good
works or personal merit, it was rooted in His covenant. He remembered the promise He made to
Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. This is a profound reminder that our deliverance is anchored in
God’s unbreakable word, not our fluctuating performance.

The same is true today in salvation. Our rescue from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom
of God’s Son is not because we have done enough good deeds to earn it. It is because of the
covenant sealed by the blood of Jesus Christ, a covenant God will never break. This covenant is
our guarantee of freedom, hope, and eternal life. When God saves, it is because He has bound
Himself by promise, and He always keeps His word.
Prayer: Thank You, Lord, for the covenant of the blood of Jesus that secures my salvation. I rest
in Your promise and trust in Your unfailing word. Amen.
