Scripture Focus: Genesis 19:14; Titus 2:7 to 8
Lot warned his sons-in-law about the coming destruction, but they laughed at him. His words carried no weight because his life had not reflected his message. He had lived too long in compromise, and when it was time to be taken seriously, no one believed him.
This is a sobering lesson for every believer. If our lives do not align with what we preach, our words will fall on deaf ears. Evangelism is not just about speaking—it is about living in a way that makes the message believable. If you warn people about sin while indulging in it yourself, they will laugh at your words. A life of integrity gives power to our witness. May our words and actions always reflect the truth of the gospel.
Prayer:
Lord, help me to live what I preach. Let my life be a testimony of Your truth so that when I speak, people will see the reality of Christ in me. Amen.
