Scripture:
Genesis 30:27 – “But Laban said to him, ‘If I have found favor in your eyes, please stay. I have
learned by divination that the Lord has blessed me because of you.’”
The story of Laban and Jacob reminds us of Joseph and Potiphar. Both Laban and Potiphar
recognized something: the presence of a man who carried God brought undeniable prosperity.
Joseph’s presence turned Potiphar’s household into a success story, just like Jacob’s presence
transformed Laban’s fortune. This is the true identity of a child of God. You don’t just live, you
shine. And you don’t just shine in church, you shine at work, in school, at home, and in
everything you do.
Your workplace is a mission field, and your excellence should be your loudest testimony. The
real proof that God is with you is not just tongues or prayers, it is results. When your boss thinks
of letting someone go and your name never comes up, that’s divine influence. If you are easily
replaceable, it’s not always persecution, it might be a sign that you’ve not made yourself
valuable. So, rise up today and decide: I will carry God’s presence with such excellence that
wherever I go, I will be a blessing they cannot afford to lose.
Prayer:
Lord, help me carry Your presence with excellence and power. Let my life bring visible results
wherever I go, in Jesus’ name.
