Scripture Focus: Genesis 26:18 to 19; 2nd Timothy 2:19
Isaac returned to the wells his father Abraham had dug. He reopened them and did not change their names. In the process, he discovered a new well, running water, something fresh. Restoration produced revelation. This is not just a story about water but about legacy and spiritual depth. There is no need to abandon what God already started. The foundation of God stands firm. Truth does not expire. The same principles that birthed power and fruit in the past still carry life today. Do not dig new wells out of rebellion or pride. Dig again and find what God preserved.
This also applies practically. If your father has a business, why not build on it instead of starting from scratch? If there is a fruitful ministry in your family, why abandon it to begin your own when you can multiply what already exists? Honoring foundations is not weakness, it is wisdom. God blesses those who value what He has already done. Do not discard what is still working. Go deeper. Build further. Dig again. The water still flows.
Prayer:
Lord, help me honor what You have already built. Let me find a new life as I continue in truth. Amen.
