do not reject your judge and prince

Scripture Focus: Exodus 2:14 – “…Who made thee a prince and a judge over us?…”
When Moses stepped in to defend an Israelite, the man’s response was, “Who made you a
prince and a judge over us?” In that moment, Moses was walking in a shadow of his calling,
both as a deliverer and as a ruler, yet he was rejected by the very people he came to help. This
scene points us to Jesus Christ, the true Judge and eternal Prince, who left the glory of heaven
to become like us in order to save us. But just as Israel rejected Moses, many rejected Jesus.
John 1:11 says, “He came unto His own, and His own received Him not.”
The question is still the same today: will you accept or reject Him? Your Prince has come to
lead you into life, and your Judge has come to free you from condemnation. To reject Him is to
turn away from the only One who can save you; to receive Him is to embrace forgiveness, life,
and eternal hope. Do not make the mistake of the Israelites, welcome Him into your life today
while there is still time.
Prayer: Lord Jesus, I receive You today as my Judge and my Prince. Lead me, save me, and
keep me in Your truth. Amen.
