From Rejection to Worship

Scripture Focus: Genesis 29:33 to 35; Isaiah 61:3
Leah named her sons according to her pain. With Simeon and Levi, she hoped her husband
would finally love her, saying, “Because the Lord hath heard I was hated…” and “Now this time
will my husband be joined unto me.” (Genesis 29:33 to 34). Her heart longed for connection, but
she kept facing rejection. Then came Judah. This time, she said, “Now will I praise the Lord.”
(Genesis 29:35). No mention of Jacob. No longing for approval. Just pure worship. Leah had
shifted. She stopped striving for man’s affection and turned fully to God.
This is healing. You may begin with hurt, disappointment, or longing, but you do not have to stay
there. Let God teach you how to turn pain into praise. The moment you stop looking to people to
complete you and start worshipping God fully, you enter a new dimension of peace. From Leah
came Judah, and from Judah came Jesus. Your praise carries prophetic power. What starts in
pain can birth redemption.
Prayer:
Lord, teach me to turn rejection into worship. Let my focus be on You, not on the approval of
others. Amen.
