He Speaks Along the Way

Scripture Focus: Genesis 22:2 to 4; Isaiah 30:21
When God told Abraham to offer Isaac, He didn’t give him all the details at once. He simply
said, “Go to the region of Moriah… to a mountain I will show you.” It would take Abraham three
long days to get there. Three days of walking with no exact coordinates. Three days of carrying
the weight of a painful assignment. Three days to second-guess everything. Yet Abraham kept
moving, step by step, word by word, led only by the voice of God.
This is how God works with us. He rarely gives us the full picture. Instead, He leads us with light
for the next step, speaking as we go. And just like Abraham, we may not understand the full
reason behind His instructions. But here’s the beauty. He doesn’t leave us alone. God speaks
along the way. In every step, every pause, every fear, He is present. If He gives the instruction,
He’ll walk the journey with you. You may be in the middle of something hard, something unclear,
something slow, but trust this: God is still speaking. Keep walking.
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for walking with me even when the path is unclear. Help me to trust Your voice
along the way and follow You step by step, knowing You will never leave me alone. In Jesus’
name. Amen.
