Scripture Focus:
“Remember now your Creator in the days of your youth…” Ecclesiastes 12:1
Being young is not just about age, it is also about season. The moment you come into Christ,
you are beginning a new journey. Whether you are sixteen or sixty, as long as you are still
breathing, you are young in God’s eyes and there is still much you can do. Joseph began his
journey with God at seventeen. King Josiah began his reign at eight. Timothy was a young man
when he became a pillar in the early church. Youth is not an excuse; it is an opportunity.
Make hay while the sun shines. Serve God while you have strength. Let your early days,
whether they are early in age or early in salvation, be dedicated to pleasing God. Many people
have waited until the end of their lives to start, and while God is merciful, why wait when you
can be useful now? Whether you are a teenager or a retiree who just gave their life to Christ,
begin now. Do not waste time. Your greatest days are ahead of you if you start walking with
God today.
Prayer:
Lord, help me not to waste my strength or my time. I choose to serve You now, while I still can.
Amen.
