Scripture Focus: “A mixed multitude went up with them also, and flocks and herds, a great deal of livestock.” Exodus 12:38 NKJV
When Israel marched out of Egypt, it wasn’t just Jacob’s descendants who left. Scripture records that a mixed multitude also followed them. These were Egyptians and foreigners who had seen the mighty hand of God in the plagues and could no longer deny His power. They had watched the gods of Egypt collapse one by one, and they knew this was not an ordinary deliverance. Without anyone preaching a sermon, they decided to follow the God of Israel. This shows us that when God moves in power, even unbelievers take notice. Signs and wonders can accomplish in a moment what endless arguments and debates cannot do. God’s presence is irresistible when revealed in fullness.
This is a prophetic picture of what is to come in our time. A season is coming when God will display His glory again in every nation of the world with miracles, signs, and wonders that cannot be denied. In those days, we won’t need to beg men to believe; they will come on their own, asking, “What must we do to be saved?” The fear of God will fall on entire communities, and revival will sweep through the nations. Our role is to stay consecrated, obedient, and ready, so that when God arises in power, we become vessels He can work through. Do not doubt it, this season is near. The world will see the glory of our God again, and just like in Egypt, multitudes will join themselves to the people of God, not by compulsion, but by conviction. Prepare yourself and be counted because revival is at the door.
Prayer: Lord, let Your mighty power be revealed in our days. Use me as a vessel in this coming move, and let multitudes be drawn to You. Amen.
