OBEYING GOD AGAINST ALL ODDS

Scripture Focus: Genesis 6:22
Noah’s obedience to God is a powerful example of faith. God commanded him to build an ark in
preparation for a flood that had not yet occurred. There was no visible sign of the coming
disaster, and Noah likely had no support from those around him. Despite these challenges, he
obeyed God without knowing how or where the resources would come from. He didn’t wait for
people’s approval or help, but he trusted in God’s direction.
This teaches us that when God calls us to do something, we may not always have the support
or understanding of others. But the most important support we need is God. His guidance and
provision are enough to carry us through, even when others doubt or turn away.
Prayer: Lord, give me the strength to obey You even when I feel unsupported. Help me trust
that You will provide all I need to fulfill Your purpose for my life. Amen.
