Scripture Focus: “…when he LIES, he speaks his NATIVE LANGUAGE…” – John 8:44
The devil introduced the first lie in history, deceiving Eve by claiming disobedience to God wouldn’t lead to death. “You shall not surely die,” he said, and Eve tragically believed him.
That same lie echoes today. The enemy whispers that sin has no consequences, and that no matter what you do, you shall not surely die. But Scripture is clear: sin leads to spiritual death and destruction. Romans 8:13 warns, “If you live according to the flesh, you will die.”
To avoid this trap, we must discern the enemy’s lies and anchor ourselves in God’s truth. Every day is a battle for your soul, will you embrace God’s Word or fall for the enemy’s deceit?
Prayer: Father, help me never to deviate from the truth all the days of my life in Jesus’ name.
