Scripture Focus: Genesis 7:16
In Genesis 7:16, the Bible records that after Noah and his family entered the ark, “The Lord shut
him in.” The door, which had been open for anyone to enter, was finally closed. This signifies
that while God’s invitation is open, it will not remain so indefinitely.
Today, the door of salvation is still open. Through Christ, the invitation to come into the ark of
safety is extended to everyone. Just as Noah likely stood calling people to enter the ark,
pastors, leaders, and evangelists continue to echo the same plea: “Come to Jesus.” But
remember, there will come a day when the door will be shut, and it will be too late to respond.
Don’t delay. The time to enter is now. Accept Jesus and find safety, peace, and eternal life
before the door is closed.
Prayer: Lord, I hear Your call today and respond with all my heart. Thank You for keeping the
door open. Help me to remain in Your ark of salvation. Amen.
