Zero Compromise

Scripture Focus: Genesis 47:1…
“Then Joseph came and told Pharaoh, My father and my brethren… and they said unto
Pharaoh…”
Joseph had the influence to decide where his family would live in Egypt, but he chose to submit
the matter to Pharaoh. This act revealed humility, integrity, and respect for proper authority.
Many people in positions of influence are tempted to use their power to favour family and
friends, even when it is not the right thing to do. Joseph’s decision reminds us that godly
leadership is not about bending rules to suit personal interests but about doing what is right
before God and man.
The higher your position, the greater your responsibility to uphold righteousness. True
greatness is not measured by how much you can do for your loved ones through personal
influence, but by how faithfully you steward the authority God has given you. Like Joseph,

choose the path of integrity, even when sentiment tugs at your heart. God can trust a leader
who chooses righteousness over corruption.
Prayer: Lord, help me to use every position and influence You give me with integrity and
humility. Amen.
